Dačice castle

The vaults of some halls and two floors of arcades on the courtyard side of the front wing have been preserved since the Renaissance period. The northern wing of the castle, which is open to the public, includes representational spaces on the ground floor, in the condition in which the last owners had left it; on the 1st floor there is a unique set of Empire-style interiors and late Art Nouveau library. The museum of the town Dačice is also on the premises of the castle, with collections including the iconography of the town, Dačice Graduale of Jan Lucian from the 16th century, Baroque sculptures, monuments to the prominent personalities of the town and a picture gallery. The chateau is surrounded by a large park.
