Albeř - the village square

The Countess Theresa Trautmannsdorf had a blast furnace and hammer mills built in 1811, where cemetery crosses, nails, cast hoops and stoves were made. The Countess also had a chateau Terezin built (now privately owned, not open to public). There also used to be a tradition of textile production in Albeř (see information board to the Textile Trail).
