An ideal starting point for hiking and biking trips to the picturesque and little affected nature of Czech Canada.

Sights and attractions in the town: a fountain with a statue of St. Lukas, a plague column, the Veteran Museum, the Regional Museum of Narrow Gauge, a narrow gauge railway from Jindřichův Hradec to Nová Bystřice, a castle (not open), the fortification walls with a former moat, a Jewish cemetery. Tourist Information Centre can be found at Mírové Square.
