By bike or on foot, Týn nad Vltavou is always nice!

A total of 38 km route is a combination of walk (ride) around Týn nad Vltavou, which will take us around the city and its attractions such as the lookout tower Semenec or the revolving auditorium and then it heads to the nearby castle Vysoký hrádek within sight of the nuclear power plant Temelín. Instead of the usual castle expositions you can look into the fresh fuel storage, the engine room of the production unit or the nuclear power reactor hall - thanks to a unique 3D movie at the local information center.

Then we take the direction of Purkarec on the way we stop at the reconstructed fort Býšov and we can not miss the Hall of Raftsailing. The route continues to Litoradlice, waterworks Hněvkovice, Hněvkovice chateau with its fabulous exhibition and then back to Týn again.

Difficulty - alternately plain along the river, alternately hilly areas. Overall difficulty: Medium. Most difficult part - from south between the village Purkarec and Litoradlice. Surface - tarmac, forest road.

The route is a combination of bicycle route no. 1079, bicycle path leading from Litoradlice to Týn nad Vltavou, a combination of 3rd class roads, 1 km stretch of road no. 105, cycle track no. 1078, 1095 and 1102. Most of the route follows the Vltava cycling path.
